Essential Buenos Aires

The city of Buenos Aires is usually the entrance and exit of the visits to Argentina. As the great city that it is, it has options for those who want to discover its museums, to cross it in bicycle, to live its sport spectacles and for those who want to deepen in the culture of the Tango, it offers the chance to participate in dance classes and milongas during the nights.

Day 1  – Arrival Buenos Aires

Welcome to Buenos Aires! We will pick you up at Buenos Aires Airport and then transfer to the hotel in the city center. The rest of the day is at leisure to visit the city by your own.

We recommend to make a stop at one of the most emblematic cafes here in Buenos Aires: Cafe Tortoni, an iconic French-style café opened in 1858 and a favorite venue for the cultural elite with live tango. An important part of the history of Buenos Aires is present on its marble tables and walls, since among its most prominent clients were the writers Jorge Luis Borges, Luigi Pirandello, Federico García Lorca and Julio Cortázar, as well as the musicians Arthur Rubinstein and the mythical Carlos Gardel.

At night a transfer will pick you up to enjoy a dinner tango show in one of the most prestigious dance venues of Buenos Aires. Located in the heart of San Telmo, Buenos Aires old quarter, this show features over 30 artists on stage with a live orchestra that will leave you speechless.

Entering the building is like traveling back in time: it used to be an old tenement house, and the interior is very well preserved. Featuring both tango and folklore, this is one of the most complete shows Buenos Aires has to offer. Then we go back to our accommodation.
